Privacy
This page covers the Assay waitlist: what you give us when you ask for access, what happens to it, and how to get it back or have it removed. Assay is a product of Kravos Tech Private Limited, which is the entity responsible for the data described here.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we ask for three things: your work email, your company, and roughly how many engineers you hire a year. We also record, automatically, the time you submitted, your browser's user agent string, the country our hosting provider reports for the request, and a count of how many times you have submitted the form. That is the whole record. We do not ask for your name, phone number or job title, and we do not buy or enrich your details from anywhere else.
Why we have it
To reply to you about access, and to judge whether Assay fits how your team hires. Nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it to advertise to you, and we do not send a newsletter.
Where it is stored
In Google Cloud Firestore, in Google's Mumbai region (asia-south1). The database refuses every read and write from a browser: only our server can reach it, and only people at Kravos Tech who need to answer you can see it.
Who else processes it
Three services, each doing one job. Google stores the database. Resend delivers the confirmation email to you and the notification to us, so it handles your email address and the delivery result. Vercel hosts the site and keeps short-lived server logs. Each acts on our instructions and nobody else receives your details.
Analytics and your browser
We run no advertising trackers and set no advertising cookies. Page usage is measured with Google Analytics, which records the pages you view and how you move through them, along with four actions we log ourselves: a page view, a trial start, a trial completion and a form submission. It sets cookies holding a random identifier, and it is never joined to your waitlist entry. Your light or dark theme choice is kept in your browser's local storage and never reaches us.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or twenty-four months after we last spoke, whichever comes first. If you tell us you are not interested, we delete the entry rather than keeping you on a list.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask for a copy of what we hold, have it corrected, have it erased, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@kravos.tech and we will act within thirty days. If our answer does not satisfy you, write to the same address marked “grievance” so it reaches the person responsible, and you may then complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Candidate sessions
This page is about the waitlist only. Assay's interview sessions record a candidate's prompts, code changes, test runs and voice answers. No candidate session runs through this site, and any candidate will be told in full, before a session begins, what is recorded and how long it is kept.
Changes
If this notice changes materially we will update the date below, and email anyone on the waitlist when the change affects data we already hold.
